Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Rose of Sharon mobile application or website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and DwellBase Lab Limited ("we", "us", "our").

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You may not create accounts for others without their consent.

Rose of Sharon is a Christian faith community. You agree to use the Service in a manner consistent with Christian values and applicable law. You must not:

• Post content that is hateful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory.
• Share sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate material.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Spam, solicit, or advertise commercial products or services.
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service.
• Collect other users' data without their consent.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

You retain ownership of content you create (prayer requests, testimonies, articles, comments). By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, distribute, and promote that content within the Service.

You are solely responsible for your content. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines without notice.

• Certain features require a paid subscription, billed monthly or annually in advance.
• Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play are subject to those platforms' billing and refund policies.
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings or the relevant app store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law.
• Donations made through the Service are voluntary and non-refundable.

All app content, design, logos, devotionals, and features created by us are the exclusive property of DwellBase Lab Limited and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written permission.

The Service integrates with third-party services including Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, and Firebase. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DwellBase Lab Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DwellBase Lab Limited and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kenya, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
